2002 Volvo S60 Overview

The 2002 Volvo S60 is a compact luxury sedan known for its sleek design and premium comfort. It belongs to the first-generation S60 lineup, which was launched in 2000 as a replacement for the S70. The car comes with a selection of three engines: a 2.4-liter inline-five producing 168 hp, a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-five offering 197 hp, and a performance-oriented T5 version with a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-five that produces 247 hp. Both manual and automatic five-speed transmissions were available as was both front-wheel and all-wheel drive depending on the model. Inside, the S60 comes equipped with an array of luxury features typical for its class, like dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, and a moonroof. Safety highlights include side-impact and curtain-style airbags, ABS, and traction control. Although its infotainment system may seem outdated today, it was quite advanced for its era, boasting an available GPS navigation system.
