The 2003 Cadillac Escalade is part of the second generation of the full-sized luxury SUV. Two trims were offered: the standard and the ESV, the latter essentially an extended version of the former. A four-speed automatic transmission is mated to a 6.0L V8 pushing out 345 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. The Escalade is equipped with an AWD system that includes a low-range case for better off-road performance. Inside, there’s a 6-disc CD changer, leather seating, power front seats, and third-row seating as standard. In terms of safety, four-wheel ABS and front-and-side airbags come standard. Notable updates for the 2003 model year include the addition of a stability control system, known as StabiliTrak, and a slight boost in engine power. The Escalade has always been known for its bold, massive and luxurious approach to the SUV market.
