2003 Chevrolet S-10 Overview

The 2003 model year was the final year for Chevrolet’s compact pickup truck, the S-10. Available in two trims, LS and Xtreme, it came with two engine choices: a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine with 120 horsepower and a more powerful 4.3-liter V6 pushing out up to 190 horsepower. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive were offered, paired with either a manual or an automatic transmission. The truck's capabilities were appreciated with the V6 offering a towing capacity of 6,200 lbs. On the inside, the available Space Cab models offered additional rear jump seats, and tech was basic, with highlights being the available AM/FM radio with CD Player. The S-10 was appreciated for its small size, making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces compared to full-size trucks.
