The 2003 Ford Windstar is a fourth-generation minivan that's designed with family comfort and safety in mind. It comes with a 3.8-liter V6 engine, producing 200 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels. The Windstar is available in three trims - LX, SE, and SEL, all equipped with ABS and dual front airbags as standard. Optional features include reverse sensing system and traction control. The interior comprises of a third-row bench seat, automatic temperature control, and an optional rear-seat entertainment system. Significant features of this model year include an improved air conditioning and heating system, and a low tire pressure warning system.
