The 2003 Mazda Truck, officially known as the Mazda B-Series, is a compact pickup truck designed for work and leisure. It was available in three trims: B2300, B3000 and B4000. The B2300 came equipped with a 2.3-liter inline-four engine offering 143 horsepower, while the B3000 models offered a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 154 horsepower, and B4000 had a 4.0-liter V6 with 207 horsepower. Each version featured a five-speed manual transmission as standard with a five-speed automatic as an optional extra. All trims came with two-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive was available for B4000 models. In terms of tech, it had a simple, straightforward setup with a radio, CD player, and optional power accessories. Mazda’s reputation for nimble handling also applied to this truck, giving it a more driver-focused experience compared to many pickups of its era.
