The 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo belongs to the sixth generation of this nameplate lasting from 2000 to 2005. Equipped with front-wheel drive, it was available in three trims: LS, SS, and the top-of-the-line SS Supercharged. Base LS trims received a 3.4-liter V6 generating 180 horsepower, while SS trims were powered by a heartier 3.8-liter V6 with 200 horsepower.
