The 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT is a traditional mid-size SUV from the brand's second generation. With room for up to seven passengers, it offers families comfortable travel. Due to the extended length, the EXT offers more legroom and cargo space than the regular TrailBlazer. It is available in three trims, LS, LT, and LTZ. Engine options include a 275-hp 4.2-liter inline-six and a 290-hp 5.3-liter V8, both tied to a four-speed automatic transmission and available with either rear- or four-wheel drive. While it lacks some of the modern safety features of newer SUVs, it does come equipped with antilock disc brakes. Chevrolet's TrailBlazer EXT also offers a decently equipped infotainment system for its time.
