The 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD represents the second generation of GMC's heavy-duty truck lineup. Offered in various trims including Work Truck, SLE, and SLT, the Sierra 2500HD could be equipped with either a 6.0L V8 engine producing 300 hp or a powerful 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8 that pumps out 300 hp and a whopping 520 lb-ft of torque. All engines come paired with an automatic transmission, with the option of 2WD or 4WD. Inside, the truck features a user-friendly cabin with available features such as an in-dash CD changer, power-adjustable pedals, and XM Satellite Radio. Though lacking in modern safety features, it does come standard with 4-wheel ABS and an available Traction Control system.
