The 2004 Honda Accord is part of the vehicle's seventh generation. It's offered in both coupe and sedan body styles, and further divided into DX, LX, EX, and LX V6 models. The DX, LX and EX trims feature a 2.4L Inline-4 engine producing 160 horsepower, while the LX V6 houses a 3.0L V6 engine under the hood that pumps out a hefty 240 horsepower. All models come with either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission and are a front-wheel-drive. Equipped with dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags and, optional for the first time, side curtain airbags - the Accord lives up to Honda's reputation for safety. Noteworthy features of the Accord's cabin include a standard AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows and locks, and keyless entry. The high-end EX models add niceties such as a power moonroof, alloy wheels, and a six-disc in-dash CD changer.
