The 2004 Lincoln LS is a luxury midsize sedan of its third generation. It comes in two trims: LS V6 Luxury and LS V8 Ultimate. Both trims are rear-wheel drive, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. The LS V6 Luxury is powered by a 232-hp, 3.0-liter V6 engine, whereas the LS V8 Ultimate boasts a 280-hp, 3.9-liter V8 engine. Inside the cabin, Lincoln introduced new materials, trim and colors to freshen the look for 2004. Both trims feature an infotainment system with a CD changer and a multifunction steering wheel. Safety features included dual front and side airbags and a four-wheel antilock brake system. With the V8 Ultimate model, more features were introduced, such as a power moonroof, heated and cooled front seats, and a premium Alpine audio system with CD changer.
