The 2005 Nissan Frontier marks the beginning of the truck's second generation. This midsize pickup came in two body styles: King Cab with rear-hinged half doors and a larger Double Cab with full-sized rear doors. The Frontier is powered by a 4.0L V6 engine producing 265 horsepower, a significant upgrade from the previous generation. A less powerful 2.5L 154 horsepower four-cylinder engine was also available.
