The 2006 Chrysler Crossfire is part of the first and only generation of this two-door sports car. Manufactured from 2004 to 2008, the Crossfire is available as a coupe or a roadster, and base and limited trims for both body styles, as well as a high-performance SRT-6 version. All trims come with a rear-wheel-drive layout. The SRT-6 is powered by a supercharged 3.2L V6 engine that produces 330 horsepower, while the base and limited trims are fitted with a 3.2L V6 that outputs 215 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a standard 6-speed manual transmission, with an optional 5-speed automatic. Notably, the Crossfire shares much of its platform and mechanical parts with Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class. It features a retro design style that was bold for its time. Standard safety equipment includes antilock brakes, traction and stability control, and side airbags. The base trim comes equipped with keyless entry, a full power accessories, and dual-zone manual air conditioning, while the limited trim adds leather seating and a premium audio system.
