2006 Ford F-350 Overview

The 2006 Ford F-350 is part of the well-regarded F-Series Super Duty truck lineup. Known for its superb towing and hauling capabilities, the F-350 comes with two engine options: a 5.4-liter V8 that produces 300 horsepower and a 6.0-liter turbodiesel V8 offering 325 horsepower. Both are paired with a heavy-duty 5-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with four-wheel drive as an option. The 2006 F-350 offers three cab styles: Regular, SuperCab, and Crew Cab; as well as three trims: XL, XLT, and Lariat. The XL trim offers basic necessities, while the XLT adds power features, chrome trim, and optional upholstery. The Lariat trim takes luxury up a notch with leather seats and automatic climate control. In terms of safety, the 2006 F-350 is equipped with a standard antilock brake system. Notably, this model year saw an introduction of an optional TowCommand system, a trailer brake controller, which integrates control of the trailer's brakes with those on the truck.
