The 2006 Hyundai Tiburon is a front-wheel-drive sports coupe with a striking design. Two main trims were available: GS and GT. The GS model was powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generating 138 horsepower, while the GT received a more potent 2.7-liter V6 offering 172 horsepower. Both engines connected to a standard five-speed manual transmission, with an optional four-speed automatic available. Inside, the Tiburon offered air conditioning, power windows, mirrors and door locks, and a Kenwood CD/MP3 audio system. Notable safety features included front side airbags and anti-lock brakes on GT models. Hyundai enhanced the Tiburon's appeal by offering a comprehensive warranty, which included a five-year/60,000-mile limited warranty and roadside assistance. The 2006 Tiburon didn't see any significant changes from its previous model year.
