The 2007 Acura RL is an upscale midsize car from the second generation. It comes in a single trim level but features a host of amenities. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 290 horsepower, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels through Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. An advanced technology package includes features such as real-time traffic monitoring. This model also includes a number of safety features, such as antilock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side-curtain airbags, and the acclaimed Collision Mitigation Braking System. The RL stands out for its robust tech suite, including Bluetooth, voice-activated navigation, and a 10-speaker Bose sound system. For 2007, Acura integrated tire pressure monitoring and increased the size of the RL’s wheels to 18 inches as two of the notable changes.
