The 2007 Chrysler Aspen is the first-generation of this full-size SUV. Adopting a rugged yet luxurious design, the Aspen comes with two engine options: a 4.7-liter V8 producing 235 horsepower and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that churns out 335 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. The Aspen is available with rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Three trims - Limited, Limited Hemi, and Limited 4WD - are offered with standard features like three-row seating, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a power driver's seat. Infotainment includes an optional rear-seat DVD system and a top-tier stereo system. The Aspen also comes equipped with standard safety features including stability control, front-seat side airbags, and curtain-type airbags that cover all three rows. Although the 2007 Aspen may feature dated technology compared to modern vehicles, it represents Chrysler's strong attempt at penetrating the full-size SUV market during the late 2000s.
