The 2007 GMC Sierra 3500HD is a full-size, heavy-duty pickup truck that was introduced as part of the Sierra's second generation. The powertrain offerings comprised three V8 engines: a 6.0L with 353 hp, a 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel with 365 hp, and a gasoline-powered 8.1L with 330 hp. Paired with these were a 6-speed automatic for the 6.0L and the Duramax, and either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual for the 8.1L. The 3500HD came standard with RWD while 4WD was optional. It was available in three trims: Work Truck, SLE, and SLT. The 2007 Sierra 3500HD was also praised for its towing prowess and roomy interior.
