The 2007 Honda CR-V is a compact crossover from its third generation that saw a complete redesign from its predecessors. The model received a novel exterior styling and had more interior space. It was offered in three trim levels: the base LX, the midrange EX, and the luxury EX-L. All came with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 166 horsepower and a five-speed automatic transmission as standard, but offered a choice of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Notable items on the features list included an 8-way adjustable driver seat, optional touchscreen navigation, a rearview camera, and a premium sound system. The basic LX model also came extremely well equipped, featuring full power accessories, keyless entry, and cruise control, among other items. The 2007 Honda CR-V maintained Honda's reputation for safety with standard stability control and multiple airbags, including front-side and side-curtain.
