The 2007 Jeep Patriot is a compact sport utility vehicle and one of the first models in the Patriot lineup. Two trims were available: the base Sport and top-level Limited. Both used a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 172 horsepower, paired with either a five-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive came standard, with Jeep's Freedom Drive I full-time four-wheel-drive system available as an option. The Patriot presented reputable off-road capabilities, a key differentiator in its class. Inside, the vehicle offered features such as 60/40 split-folding rear seats and optional features including a touchscreen navigation system and Boston Acoustics speakers. Notably, side-curtain airbags, stability control with electronic roll mitigation, and ABS brakes were standard for safety.
