The 2007 Mercedes-Benz R-Class is a luxury sports tourer launched as part of the vehicle's first generation. It comes in two trims: the R350 and the R500, each equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The R350 is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine generating 268 horsepower, while the R500 has a 5.0L V8 engine that outputs 302 horsepower. Mercedes-Benz's 4MATIC all-wheel drive system is standard across the lineup.
