The 2008 Chrysler Aspen is the first and only generation of this full-size SUV. It is offered with two engine options: a 303-hp 4.7-liter V8 and a torquey 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 376 hp, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional. The Aspen comes in two trims, Limited and Limited HEV. Each trim is generously equipped with modern infotainment – an 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen, SiriusXM, and rear-seat DVD entertainment. Safety features include standard front airbags, ABS, and stability control, but advanced assists such as Lane-Keeping Assist are missing. Apart from the introduction of the hybrid variant, there were no significant changes to the Aspen in 2008.
