The 2008 Dodge Ram is the third generation of the brand's full-size pickup. Available in RWD or 4WD, it comes in three body styles—regular cab, quad cab, and mega cab—and four trims - ST, SLT, Laramie, and the SRT10. Engine options include a 3.7L V6 with 215 hp, a 4.7L V8 producing 310 hp, a 5.7L Hemi V8 churning out 345 hp, and a massive 8.3L V10 in the SRT10 model with 500 hp. Paired with these engines are either a four-speed automatic, a five-speed automatic, or a six-speed manual transmission. Key features include a standard CD player, optional navigation system, available rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and dual power-sliding doors. It also boasts impressive towing and payload capabilities, but lacks in crash-test ratings compared to competitors.
