2008 Nissan Maxima Overview

The 2008 Nissan Maxima, part of the vehicle's sixth generation, is a front-wheel-drive sedan known for its sporty performance and comfortable ride. It comes available in two trims: the SL and the SE, both powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that pumps out 255 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is standard, offering smooth, seamless shifting. The car's interior includes a 7-inch LCD information display and comes with an 8-speaker sound system with a 6-disc CD changer, MP3/WMA CD playback capability, Radio Data System (RDS), and speed-sensitive volume control. Safety features include six airbags, tire pressure monitoring, and anti-lock disc brakes. Changes from the previous year include a much more extensive standard equipment list and an upgraded audio and navigation system.
