The 2008 Nissan Titan is part of the truck's first generation. It comes with a 5.6-liter V8 engine capable of 317 hp and is paired with five-speed automatic transmission. The Titan is available in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and four-wheel-drive (4WD) configurations, and comes in four trims: XE, SE, Pro-4X and LE. These trims are divided into King Cab and Crew Cab styles. Key features include available rear DVD entertainment, Bluetooth, XM Satellite Radio and navigation system. The Titan is fitted with Nissan's advanced airbag system which includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. For 2008, the Titan introduces the long-wheelbase Pro-4X model and become the first full-size pickup to offer a factory-applied spray-in bedliner.
