2008 Subaru Legacy Overview

The 2008 Subaru Legacy, a midsize sedan, is part of the vehicle's fourth generation. This model came in several trims: 2.5 i, 2.5 i Special Edition, 2.5 i Limited, 2.5 GT Limited, 2.5 GT spec.B, and 3.0 R Limited. Power was provided by a standard 2.5-liter flat-4 engine churning out 170 horsepower, and an optional 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-4 with 243 horsepower or a 3.0-liter flat-6 with 245 horsepower. Notably, all Legacy models featured Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, which greatly enhanced handling and traction. Inside, the Legacy boasted a well-designed cabin with quality materials. Key safety features included standard antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, full-length curtain-type airbags, and active front head restraints. The optional navigation system came with a 7-inch display screen. A critical change for this model year was the addition of the 3.0 R Limited trim, which offered a powerful six-cylinder engine and additional luxury features.
