2009 Ford F-350 Overview

The 2009 Ford F-350 is part of Ford's Super Duty lineup and offers a remarkably powerful and versatile full-size truck option. Available in three different cab styles, as well as various trims such as XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and the top luxury Cabela's, it can accommodate every need. The F-350 features a standard 5.4-liter V8 engine with 300 horsepower, with optional 6.8-liter V10 or 6.4L PowerStroke V8 turbo-diesel engines. It comes with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but a five-speed automatic is optional. Perhaps most impressively, Ford's F-350 offers a maximum towing capacity of 24,500 lbs when properly equipped. Notable features for this year include a revised suspension for enhanced ride and handling, as well as an available integrated trailer brake controller and optional Rapid-Heat Supplemental Cab Heater for cold climates. Standard safety equipment consists of antilock disc brakes and a tire-pressure monitor, with an optional reverse camera system available to facilitate safe backing up.
