The 2009 GMC Sierra 1500, part of its second generation, is a full-size pickup truck available in two- or four-wheel drive across three body styles: regular cab, extended cab, and crew cab. Engine options include a 4.3-liter V6 (195 hp), two V8s (a 4.8-liter with 295 hp and a 5.3-liter with 315 hp), and a 6.2-liter V8 (403 hp) reserved for the top-trim Denali. These are mated to a four- or six-speed automatic transmission. Comfort and convenience options include an EZ Lift tailgate, navigation, and Bluetooth. Standard safety features include stability control, full-length side curtain airbags, and antilock brakes. For 2009, the Sierra added available rearview camera, new wheels, and new exterior colors.
