The 2009 Hyundai Genesis marks the debut of Hyundai's entry into the luxury vehicle segment. Available as a sedan, the Genesis comes with a choice of a 290-hp 3.8-liter V6 or a 368-hp 4.6-liter V8 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The interior is lavishly appointed with leather, real wood, and aluminum trim. Infotainment includes a 7" or 8" touchscreen, Lexicon premium audio, and navigation. Safety features encompass traction control, Electronic Stability Control, and eight airbags. Notably, Hyundai equips all variants with its proprietary Electronic Active Head Restraints that help prevent whiplash.
