The 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser is revered for its off-road capabilities andretro design reflective of the classic Land Cruiser FJ40 of the 1960s. Part of the first generation that started in 2006, this midsize SUV comes with a 4.0L V6 engine producing 239 horsepower, mated to either a 5-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. Its three trims include a rear-wheel drivetrain with limited-slip differential and part-time 4WD models. Distinct looks aside, the interior houses premium features like an 8-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, and an optional rearview camera. However, they missed out on modern infotainment systems seen in contemporaries. Safety features include electronic stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes, but it doesn't offer sophisticated driver-assist technologies of today.
