The 2010 BMW Z4 represents the second generation of the German automaker's luxury roadster. Offered in two trims—sDrive30i and sDrive35i—the Z4 features a retractable hardtop for a blend of coupé and convertible enjoyment. The sDrive30i model operates with a 3.0-liter inline-six engine generating 255 horsepower, while the sDrive35i trim borrows a twin-turbocharged version of the same engine pushing out 300 horsepower. Transmission choices include a standard six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic for the sDrive30i, but a seven-speed double-clutch DCT transmission is reserved for the sDrive35i. Features include an updated iDrive infotainment system, and every Z4 comes with stability control, antilock brakes, and run-flat tires for safety.
