The 2010 Ford Escape is a compact SUV that's available in XLS, XLT, and Limited trims. It comes equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 171 horsepower. There's also an optional 3.0-liter V6 with 240 horsepower. Both engines pair with a six-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional. The Escape offers keyless entry, full power accessories, and air conditioning across all models, with higher trims boasting leather upholstery, a sunroof, and the Sync electronics interface system. Safety features include antilock brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length curtain-type airbags. The 2010 Escape's minor exterior and interior revisions, including a more ergonomic center stack design, are notable changes from the previous year model.
