The 2011 Dodge Journey is part of the vehicle's first generation, and it underwent a significant refresh for that year. This midsize crossover provides a choice of two engines: a 2.4L inline-4 with a modest 173 horsepower or a much punchier 3.6L V6 engine providing 283 horsepower, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard with an available all-wheel drive on V6 models. Inside, the Journey offers a surprising amount of technology for its age, including a 4.3-inch infotainment system or an optional 8.4-inch touchscreen, both offering SiriusXM radio capabilities. It is available in five trims - Express, Mainstreet, Crew, R/T and Lux. Key safety features include stability control, antilock brakes with brake assist, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags for all three rows and active front head restraints.
