The 2011 Ford Expedition is a full-size SUV that comes in six trim levels: XL, XLT, XLT Premium, Limited, King Ranch and EL versions of the XLT, Limited and King Ranch. Powering the Expedition is a 5.4-liter V8 that produces 310 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard and sends power to either the rear wheels or a four-wheel-drive system. In terms of safety, it offers front-seat side airbags, full-length curtain-type airbags, antilock disc brakes, stability/traction control and trailer sway control. It also comes with Ford's programmable MyKey system, which allows parents to specify speed limits and stereo volume limits for their teenage drivers. The Expedition's cabin provides optional navigation system with rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear controls, power-adjustable pedals, a back-up camera, a 10-way power driver seat, Ford's Sync system and an upgraded seven-speaker sound system with a six-CD changer.
