2011 Ford F-250 Overview

The 2011 Ford F-250 belongs to the Super Duty lineup of Ford, which was on its third generation. The F-250 is a full-size, heavy-duty pickup truck available in numerous trims ranging from the base XL to the luxurious Lariat and King Ranch editions. Buyers have a choice between two engines – the 6.2-litre V8 petrol engine that produces 385 hp, or the 6.7-litre PowerStroke V8 turbo-diesel, which delivers 390 hp. Both engines are mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. Two drivetrains are available: rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). Key safety features include the Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control (RSC) and Safety Canopy System with roll-fold side-curtain airbags. The latest technology at the time included Ford's SYNC voice-activated communications and infotainment system.
