2011 Kia Optima Overview

The 2011 Kia Optima represents the vehicle's third generation. It comes with two engine options: a 2.4-liter, 200-hp GDI engine, and a 2.0L turbocharged 274-hp engine. Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic shifting. The Optima comes in three trims: LX, EX, and SX. The LX and EX models are FWD with standard features such as Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and USB ports. The SX trim offers sport-tuned suspension, HID headlights, and paddle shifters. Safety features include front-seat side airbags, side curtain-type airbags, and antilock brakes. The infotainment system includes a 6-speaker audio system, a CD player, a satellite radio, and an auxiliary audio jack. The 2011 Optima introduced a sleek redesign and a more fuel-efficient engine, a contributing factor to its nomination for the 2011 'North American Car of the Year'
