2011 Kia Soul Overview

The 2011 Kia Soul is part of the first generation of this compact hatchback. Two engine options were available: a base 1.6-liter 4-cylinder with 122 horsepower and a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 142 horsepower. A 5-speed manual transmission came standard, with a 4-speed automatic as an option. Trim levels included the base, Plus, Exclaim, and Sport. Each Soul came equipped with safety features like stability control, antilock brakes, airbags, and active front head restraints. On the tech side, the Soul offered a standard 4-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary input jack, while upgrades included an 8-speaker system with a subwoofer, a sunroof, and a rearview camera.
