2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Overview

The 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is part of the fourth generation of Merc’s venerable executive sedan, known for its sophisticated luxury and advanced safety features. Available in seven trims: E350, E350 Bluetec, E550, E63 AMG, E350 Cabriolet, E550 Cabriolet, and E63 AMG Cabriolet, the E-Class caters to a range of driving preferences. Engine options include a 3.0L V6 diesel (210 hp), a 3.5L V6 (268 hp), a 5.5L V8 (382 hp) and a hefty 6.2L V8 (518 hp), paired with either a 7-speed automatic or a 7-speed multi-clutch transmission. The sedan version comes in RWD as standard, with 4MATIC AWD optional. The E-Class is equipped with Mercedes-Benz's COMAND interface, which includes a 7-inch display, navigation, and Harman Kardon surround-sound audio. Safety features include the Mercedes Pre-Safe system, Attention Assist, and 9 airbags. The 2011 model marks the introduction of the Cabriolet (convertible) models and a new diesel Bluetec engine.
