2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Overview

The 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer, part of the car's eighth-generation lineup, remains known for its competitive performance in the compact sedan market. The range includes four different trims: the base DE, ES, GTS and the top-of-the-line Ralliart. The DE and ES trims are powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine producing 148 horsepower, while a larger 2.4-liter inline-4 with 168 horsepower is standard in the GTS. The Ralliart steps up to a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine offering a robust 237 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automated manual transmission. All versions come with a five-speed manual transmission standard while an optional CVT automatic is available. All-wheel drive is offered in Ralliart. Inside, the Lancer is fitted with a basic but functional layout, with highlights such as a keyless entry and a four-speaker stereo. Available safety features include stability control, anti-lock brakes, and seven standard airbags.
