The 2011 Porsche Panamera, a part of the first-generation series, is a four-door, four-seat luxury sedan that blends Porsche's sports car DNA with the comfort of a luxury sedan. It's available in five trims: Base, 4, S, 4S, and Turbo. Its engine options ranged from a 300-hp V6 engine in the base model, 400-hp V8 for the S and 4S, rising to a whopping 500-hp in the Turbo trim, all mated with Porsche's dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission. It also offers a versatile all-wheel-drive system except the base and 'S' models, which were rear-wheel drive. Inside, Porsche included an elaborate set of luxury and tech features, including an optional 7-inch touchscreen, GPS navigation, and Bose audio system. Safety features were top-notch, with standard full-size driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags at the front, curtain airbags along the entire roof frame and side windows from the A-pillar to the C-pillar, and a roll-over sensor to signal the airbag control unit in the event of imminent roll-over, among others.
