2011 Subaru Forester Overview

The 2011 Subaru Forester is a small crossover SUV from the model's third generation. It comes with two engine options: a 170-hp 2.5L naturally-aspirated flat-4 and a vigorous 224-hp 2.5L turbocharged variant. Standard on all models is Subaru's signature symmetrical all-wheel drive and a choice between a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission. It offers spacious interior, comfortable ride quality, and high ground clearance, ideal for mild off-roading. The Forester comes in five trims: 2.5X, 2.5X Premium, 2.5X Limited, 2.5XT Premium and 2.5XT Touring. Notable features include an optional touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and panoramic sunroof. The 2011 model year introduced a new grille design, updated instrument cluster and an optional TomTom navigation system.
