2012 Audi A3 Overview

The 2012 Audi A3 is a compact luxury hatchback that nicely blends performance, comfort, and practicality. It is a part of the second-generation model series. The A3 provides two engine options: a 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder producing 200 horsepower and a 2.0-liter TDI diesel that delivers 140 horsepower. Both engines come paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the A3 offers both front-wheel and quattro all-wheel-drive configurations. Available in Premium and Premium Plus trims, the A3 includes staple safety features such as stability control, antilock brakes, and a full suite of airbags. Infotainment is handled by Audi's well-regarded MMI system, and the A3 also includes satellite radio and Bluetooth. Notably, the A3 was given a refresh in 2012, featuring new lights and grille.
