The 2012 Audi Q5 belongs to the first generation of this compact luxury crossover, produced from 2009 to 2017. The Q5 came with three engine options: a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder offering 211 horsepower, a 3.2-liter V6 delivering 270 horsepower, and for the hybrid variant, a powertrain combining the 2.0-liter engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined 245 horsepower. All powertrain setups were mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s trademark Quattro all-wheel drive. Two trims were offered: Premium and Premium Plus. The Q5 came well-equipped with standard features including a 6.5-inch display, a 10-speaker audio system, leather upholstery, and tri-zone automatic climate control. Its safety offering included stability and traction control, antilock brakes, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. With its refined interiors, compelling performance, and a smooth ride, the 2012 Audi Q5 stands out in the luxury compact SUV segment.
