The 2012 Ford Expedition is part of the model's third generation. This full-size SUV comes in two trims: the base and the more luxurious Limited trim. Both trims are powered by a 5.4-liter V8 engine that generates 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The SUV comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive is an option. Inside, the Expedition boasts an optional Sync voice-activation system, a navigation system with Sirius Travel Link services, and an 8 inch infotainment screen. Key safety features include antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, and full-length curtain-type airbags. There were no significant changes for the Expedition in the 2012 model year.
