The 2012 Ford F-250, a member of the Super Duty lineup, is a heavy-duty full-size truck geared for serious towing and hauling. The F-250 comes in five trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum. Buyers can choose from two engines: a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine producing 385 horsepower, or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 offering 400 horsepower and an impressive 800 lb-ft of torque. The truck features a standard 6-speed automatic transmission and is available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. In terms of safety, the 2012 F-250 is equipped with front-seat side airbags, trailer sway control, and an integrated trailer brake controller. Inside, the base XL model offers a basic 2-speaker sound system, while higher trims offer premium audio and infotainment systems, including options like a navigation system, rearview camera, and SYNC voice command system.
