2012 Ford F-450 Overview

The 2012 Ford F-450 is a part of the formidable Super Duty series that Ford is known for. This heavy-duty truck is powered by a massive 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 engine that outputs an impressive 400 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and is available in both RWD and 4WD configurations. The F-450 is offered in five different trims—XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum—each progressively more luxurious. Safety features include antilock brakes (ABS), an array of airbags, roll stability control, and trailer sway control. The infotainment system, however, is basic for this model year, with optional upgrades available. The 2012 F-450 is best known for its towing capabilities, well-appointed interiors, and rugged durability.
