2012 Ford Fusion Overview

The 2012 Ford Fusion is a midsize sedan available in S, SE, SEL and Sport trims. It comes with either 2.5L I-4 175hp engine, 3.0L V-6 240hp engine, or a 3.5L V-6 263hp engine, all paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available for V6 models. Available tech includes SYNC voice-activated systems, a rear view camera, and Ford’s MyKey system. It has excellent safety features, with antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain-type airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Specific to this model year was a redesigned exterior and a more fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine.
