2012 GMC Acadia Overview

The 2012 GMC Acadia is a full-sized SUV part of the model's first generation. It offers seating for up to eight and a comfortable ride, while still providing ample power. Under the hood, the Acadia houses a 3.6 liter V6 engine pushing 288 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available. The Acadia comes in four trim levels: SLE, SLT-1, SLT-2 and luxury-themed Denali. Key safety features include standard side-curtain airbags for all three rows, antilock brakes, stability control and traction control. A rearview camera is also standard on all but the base model. The infotainment system features a touchscreen display, offering navigation, Bluetooth, OnStar and satellite radio functionality.
