2012 Honda Accord Overview

The 2012 Honda Accord is part of the sedan's 8th generation that ran from 2008 to 2012. This model year is available in both sedan and coupe body styles with trims ranging from LX, LX-P, and EX to the top-spec EX-L. The standard 2.4L four-cylinder engine generates 177 horsepower, while the EX and EX-L trims have a beefed up version of the same engine producing 190 horsepower. Additionally, a 3.5L V6 rated at 271 horsepower is offered in EX and EX-L trims. As for the transmission, it comes with a five-speed manual as standard, while a five-speed automatic is available as an option. The 2012 Accord offers a pleasing list of features including dual-zone automatic climate control, a USB audio interface, Bluetooth, and more. Safety equipment includes six airbags, antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control. This model year didn't see any major changes, as it was the final year before a 2013 redesign.
