The 2012 Honda Odyssey is part of the minivan's fourth generation, which debuted for the 2011 model year. Five trims are available: LX, EX, EX-L, Touring, and Touring Elite. The 2012 Odyssey comes standard with a 248-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, while the Touring models get a six-speed automatic. Features across all trims include cloth or leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, a multi-angle rearview camera, and seating for up to eight people. Infotainment options range from a basic radio and CD setup in the LX to a high-end system with a split-screen display, navigation, voice command, and 15GB of music storage in the Touring Elite. As for safety, the Odyssey earned admirable ratings from the IIHS and NHTSA, largely thanks to its standard stability control, anti-lock brakes, and multiple airbags.
