The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sits in the fourth generation of the luxury brand's compact car lineup. This year's model comes with the option of either a 1.8L turbocharged inline-4 engine generating 201 horsepower or a 3.5L V6 producing up to 302 horsepower. A 7-speed automatic transmission is standard across all trims, with both RWD and 4MATIC AWD options. Available in either sedan or coupe body styles, the trims include C250, C300, C350 and the high-performance C63 AMG, the latter of which enjoys a beefy 6.3L V8 outputting 451 horsepower. In terms of technology, all 2012 C-Class models feature a 5.8-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth®, driver memory functions and an optional navigation system. Mercedes-Benz's Attention Assist® driver fatigue monitor, nine airbags, stability control, and traction control also serve to enhance safety.
